Ice Fishing Outing – Nelson WI (Mississippi backwaters)

Free for all veterans, active service members, first responders and their families! Join us for an outing on the backwaters of the Mississippi River Pool 4 in Nelson, WI (just across from Waubesha, MN)! A fun fishery with excellent views.
Please RSVP here or to our NW WI Coordinator Tyler Thiede at tthiede@wiherooutdoors.org so we can plan food. We will be providing bottled water, brats, chips, and hot dogs (we will be grilling on the ice).
Tyler’s 8″ electric ice auger will be available for use. We will have live bait from Glenwood City Bait and Bow, a local veteran owned business for everyone to use.

We will be launching from the Beef Slough boat launch here: 44°24’13.7″N 92°01’08.2″W
